How To Audition

Music Audition:

• 16-32 bars (30-60 seconds) of a song

• Should showcase vocal ability and range

• Questions and exercises related to vocal range and music reading ability

• Age appropriate selection

 

Drama Audition:

• No more than one minute monologue

• Improv exercise and cold reading to test acting ability

• Age and ability appropriate selection​

In addition to the above, a performer may choose to include other areas of the performing arts, such as instrumental playing or a dance performance. These selections should be limited to no more than 2 minutes.
